Uses of Artificial Intelligence in short films, challenges and opportunities.

In this talk, Anna Giralt addressed the challenges and opportunities that AI can bring to short films. The session focused on the debate about the power and accessibility of these technologies, as well as their impact for artists, exploring how it could democratise access to creative resources.

It also explores the differences between discriminative or generative AI and its creative use in the sector.

The activity also seeks to debunk some myths about the ease of generating with AI, and therefore the need for technical knowledge and use in the artist’s favour, in order to obtain the most optimal result.
